Flat jack

Flat jack

Only 5 mm thick, and built for high forces.

Our patented ultra-flat jack is not a conventional flat jack. At only 5 mm thick it fits where a normal jack has no room, including directly in a cut through the concrete. That makes it possible to lift, tension and apply large forces where there is almost no room.
Because we design and build the jacks in our own shop, size and shape follow the force and the space available. Square, rectangular, polygonal or round: many forms are possible.
Depending on the area, forces of 15,000 kN and more can be reached, and the jack can move more than 50 mm.
The ultra-flat jack is patented and has also been tested at Empa. The test report is available on request.
If you have a job with little room and large forces, talk to us. We will look at which version fits.

Typical uses:
  • Under the foot of a steel column
  • Pressing a cut open
  • Tensioning supports in an excavation
  • Tensioning foundations
  • Testing the beams that carry a building
  • Tensioning joints between concrete elements so they resist earthquakes
