Re-levelling
When the ground no longer supports the building.
Settlement can lower and tilt buildings, machines or silos. The causes vary: layers that can carry different loads, fill, disturbed ground, a change in groundwater, or work nearby. Often several of these act together.
With our jacking equipment we bring a settled or tilted structure back to the position it should have. Where it also needs to stay there, our jacked piles can underpin the existing foundations and take the loads into stronger ground.
Re-levelling is more than putting a building straight again. It means understanding why it moved, and developing the right method with geologists, engineers and the other specialists on the project.
