Project overview In 2024 Iten AG carried out the horizontal alignment of the floors of a listed building on Kolinplatz in Zug.
The aim of the project was to catch and stabilise the severely deformed floors and to align them exactly horizontally. Particular attention was paid to ensuring that the façade and adjoining neighbouring buildings remained completely undamaged.
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and sound specialist knowledge, the alignment was implemented efficiently and safely.
Challenges Work on the listed building fabric required an extremely careful and precise approach. In addition, the confined space in the centre of the city of Zug placed high demands on planning and execution.
Such a complex construction project is only possible through close and constructive cooperation of all parties involved. These include architects, engineers, construction companies and heritage conservation.
