Project overview
Itenbau AG carried out the insertion of the 2,000-tonne tunnel boring machine. It had a diameter of 12.30 metres. The distance covered was around 100 metres.
Challenges
The insertion ran through a curve. The length of the TBM of over 90 metres was an additional challenge.
