Project overview
The villa had tilted diagonally as well as vertically by approximately 20 centimetres in each case. Despite micropiles the ground was not load-bearing. Itenbau AG caught the 1,100-tonne building in a controlled manner, lifted it and realigned it. In addition the entire building was raised by 20 centimetres with the press-pile System Iten AG.
Challenges
The press piles were pressed in over 30 metres. Not all micropiles were successfully separated; they had to be lifted with the building. In the basement the building stood at different heights.
