Project overview
Due to a planned new build of commercial premises and apartments, the old cinema had to be demolished. Itenbau AG carried out settlement-free shoring of four storeys for the complete demolition of the cinema down to the 2nd basement level. The project was monitored by a high-precision hydrostatic level. The structure weighed approx. 1,800 tonnes and was 9.5 metres high.
Challenges
The entire shoring had to be installed in advance through the cinema and all floors.
