Itenbau AG carried out the installation of horizontal stainless-steel tie rods. A special tensioning device enabled controlled prestressing. The new system can be retensioned.
Challenges
The work had to be carried out with the utmost care, as the smooth appearance of the stainless steel does not forgive mechanical effects.
