Project overview
Itenbau AG carried out the transverse slide of Ponte Navegna by 12 metres. A particularly impressive achievement by all involved. Track installations had to be dismantled and the old bridge removed. After new abutments were installed, the bridge could be slid in. Installation of the railway equipment followed.
Challenges
All dismantling and reinstallation was completed in only 56 hours. All parties worked hand in hand.
