Project overview For the municipality of Schmerikon the deck slab was structurally strengthened and fully replaced. To this end Itenbau AG lifted the listed superstructure so that the works could be carried out gently. The old bridge slab was removed and replaced with a new, high-performance structure.
Challenges The listed superstructure was lifted during the construction works. Particular caution is always required when working on flowing water.
