Project overview Itenbau AG carried out temporary area propping of a vaulted tunnel garage for the construction of a new escape route. The roughly 300 m² support area of a 20.30-metre-wide vaulted basement was secured with a timber system, patented feet and telescopic props with 20-tonne jacks.
Challenges Particularly demanding was the complex load distribution of the fragile vault in the construction state.
