Project overview The lake piers of an 800-tonne steel composite bridge in Walchwil were lowered by 16 centimetres. After completion of the shell in 2025, the abutment was raised by 5 centimetres. The overall length of the bridge is 70 metres with a width of 12 metres.
Challenges Work in the lake with hydraulic presses must be particularly well planned.
