Flood Protection – Raising the Lakeside House

Project overview:

The lakeside house on Lake Murten had been flooded multiple times in the past. To prevent this in the future, we were able to synchronously raise the entire building by 1.50 meters using our lifting system.

Challenges:

To better distribute the loads on the poorly load-bearing subsoil, we constructed a new load-distribution slab beneath the existing lakeside house. This was installed in stages beneath the building without allowing the house to settle during the work.
